YOUNG AT HEART GROUP

Young at Heart is an active retirement group based on principles of self-help. It was set up in Kilbeggan in 2005 it aims to help members lead a full, happy and healthy life; to keep on doing things for themselves and to remain active members in the community. The group meets once a week and activities include physical exercise, demonstrations, outing, crafts and computer training. There is also an intergenerational project with pupils from Sixth Class. This project includes art exhibitions, debates, singing, music and dancing. The Bealtaine Festival is the next Intergenerational event which will be in the Library on Wednesday May the 13th. All are welcome.
