CHRISTMAS THANK YOU

Thanks to all the parishioners in Kilbeggan and Rahugh, and a special thanks to the Sisters of Mercy, the Finance Committee, the Parish Pastoral Assembly, the Parish Centre Committee , the Hospitality Groups in the Centre and the caretakers, and the Cemetery Committee. Thanks to our dedicated sacristans. Thanks to the Altar Societies who keep the churches so well. Thanks for flowers, flower arranging, and for the decoration of the church and cribs. Thanks to all our altar servers, our Ministers of the Word, and Ministers of the Eucharist. Thanks to the choirs, their leaders, musicians, and organists. Thanks to the collectors and to all who help with the bulletin. Thanks to the child protection representatives. Thanks to all the teachers in our schools who care for the children so well and pass on our faith. Thanks to all those who support the parish so generously in the collections. Finally thank you for your support for me personally. May you all have a blessed and joyful Christmas and a happy New Year.

FUNERALS

Bereavement is always difficult, but it is made even more difficult now with the restrictions. The restrictions extend to the Funeral Mass too unfortunately with only 10 people allowed in the Church. This makes the grieving process even more difficult. The support of the extended family and parish community has always been a great support to the bereaved.

Below are the readings from which a family can choose for the Mass, and all the details regarding a Funeral Mass in our Parish. You can discuss these with me and any arrangements for the Funeral.
