Sr. Frances O'Brien

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Sr. Frances O’Brien, Convent of Mercy, Tullamore, and late of Ballybroder, Durrow, Co. Offaly. Died 22nd January 2023. Peacefully after a short illness in the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore. Predeceased by her parents Daniel and Mary Clare, sister Eilis and brother Rodge. Sadly missed by the Sisters of Mercy, Tullamore and Northern Province, her family Clare, Peggy, Noel, Kitty (Sr. Xavier), Julia, Dannie, Michael and Annie (Clavin, Kilbeggan), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing in the Convent Chapel on Tuesday, 24th January 2023, from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm with Evening Prayer at 5:30 pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, 25th January 2023, at 12 noon in the Church of the Assumption, Tullamore. Burial afterwards in Clonminch Cemetery, Tullamore. Kathleen Neary (née Burke)

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Kathleen Neary (née Burke), Clooncullane, Strokestown / Elphin, Co. Roscommon. Peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at the Sacred Heart Hospital, Roscommon. In her 86th year. Predeceased by her husband, Seán, parents John and Mary, brothers John Joe, Eamon, Peter and Michael and sister Teresa (Dunne, Kilbeggan). Much loved mother of John, Elaine, Dermot, Coman and Brendan. Sadly missed by her sons, daughter, daughters-in-law Joan, Anne and Kelly, Brendan’s partner Jana, son-in-law Seán (Griffin), grandchildren David, Brian, Colm, Eoin, Eleanor and Catherine, siblings Dicky, Sr. Pauline, Bridie, Patsy, Pat, Eileen and Ann, brothers-in- law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Brady’s Funeral Home, Elphin, on Monday (23rd Jan) from 5.30p.m. to 8.00p.m. Removal on Tuesday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, Elphin, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Kathleen will be laid to rest afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed at

Michael Francis Feeney

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Michael Francis Feeney, Comagh Road, Kilbeggan and late of Ballyedmond, Clonberne, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. (Retired member of An Garda Siochana) Died on January 12th 2023, peacefully, after a long illness in the tender care of the Management and Staff of Newbrook Nursing Home, Mullingar.

Predeceased by his father William, mother Mary, sisters Bridie and Mary, and his recently deceased niece Denise.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Nan, daughter Emer, son Enda, gradaughters Tara and Emma, and their mother Alanna. Brothers John and Fr. Joe, sisters Angela and Evelyn, son-in-law Michael, sisters-in-law Rose and Mary, his many nephews, nieces, family, relatives, and friends.

Reposing at Nannery’s Chapel of Rest, River View, Kilbeggan, Sunday (15/01/2023) from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Removal afterwards to St. James’ Church, Kilbeggan, for 7:30pm. funeral prayers.
