Please pray for the repose of the soul of Fintan Scally, Camillaun Park, Newcastle, Galway and formerly of Pallas, Rahugh, Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath.
On Wednesday, the 19th of August 2026, Fintan passed away peacefully at The Galway Hospice, surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of the late Nora and loving son of the late Fintan and Molly Scally.
Fintan will be sadly missed by his brothers Frank, Liam, Damien, Raymond, Edmund and Desmond, sisters Gretta Clear and Carmel Minnock, brothers-in-law (especially Robert), sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at St. Pio’s Room, within the Church of the Sacred Heart, Westside, Galway (H91 E781), on Friday the 21st August from 6:00pm followed by removal at 7:00pm into the adjoining church.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday the 22nd of August at 10:00am. Fintan will then be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery (H91 XW62) with his loving wife Nora.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Joe Kenny, Fancroft, Roscrea, Offaly / Roscrea, Tipperary, who died peacefully, at home on 9th August, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his son, Enda (Kenny’s shop), his parents, Michael and Mary (née Keating), sister, Julia (Bergin), and brothers, Fr. Peter (I.C.), Frank, Michael, and Oliver, and his brothers-in-law, Tom and Paddy.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, Mary (née Kennedy, Loughmore), children, Bernie, Triona,(Rahugh), Noeleen, Oliver, Edel and Paula, fifteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Sr. Margaret (St. John of God, Wexford) and Lily Kenny, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, niece, nephews, relatives, good friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Doyle’s Funeral Home Roscrea (E53 RX08) on Monday 10 August from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at 8pm to St. Molua’s Church, Roscomroe (E53 NH67).
Funeral Mass at 12 o’clock, Tuesday, followed by Burial in Dungar Cemetery.

Maisie passed peacefully after a short illness in the wonderful care of the staff at Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore.
Predeceased by her beloved husband John, sister Eithne, brothers Bernie Joe, John P, and James.
Sadly missed by her loving family, sons Philip, Pat, Vincent, Sean and Declan, daughters Eithne, Mary, Pauline and Bernadette, her dear sister Lily Garvey and brother Vincent Bannon, her adored grandchildren and great grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and her many great friends and neighbours.
