Please pray for the repose of the soul of James Curley, Dublin Rd. Kilbeggan, Westmeath. Predeceased by his wife Maura and his infant son Paul. James passed peacefully at The Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore, on the 25th of May with his family by his side.  Deeply regretted by his daughter Rosemary, his sons Eamonn, Vincent and his partner Bernie, nieces, nephews, family relatives and friends.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Peter Spillane,  Knockgriffin, Midleton, who died on May 23rd 2026, peacefully in the presence of his loving family.

Peter, predeceased by his loving wife Sheila (née Cahalane) and his daughter Kathleen, brother John, and brother-in-law Patrick Cahalane.

Cherished father of Pauline (Dineen), Patrick (Kilbeggan), Norman, Michael and Sean. Sadly missed also by his sisters-in-law Mary Cahalane (Knockgriffin, Midleton), Annie O’Sullivan (Bandon) and Bridie McAveety (London), son-in-law Michael Dineen, daughters-in-law Rose and Caroline, his beloved grandchildren Jason, Niamh, Claire, Peter, Ciara, Eoghan, Emma and Róisín, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Peter will Repose in O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton P25 X382 on Monday 25th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.

Reception into Church of the Most Holy Rosary Midleton on Tuesday 26th for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. The funeral Mass will be live streamed on midletonparish.ie

Please pray for the repose of the soul of  Thomas (Tom) McClelland, Marian Villas, Laytown, Co. Meath and formerly of Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath who died on 19th May 2026.  Peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Mary and William and sister Molly. Beloved husband of Rita and loving dad to Robert and Ian. Tom will be very sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters-in-law Kerry and Elaine, grandchildren Daisy, Zac, Max and Amberlyn, brother Liam, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Sr. Ena Devlin, Loreto Convent, Navan, Loreto Convent Letterkenny, Céilí Community, Kilbeggan, and formerly of Edergole, Omagh, who passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda, May 6th 2026.
Sr. Ena, daughter of the late Michael and Catherine. Much loved sister of Jim (Monica RIP), Rose McHugh (Brendan RIP), Stephen (Eileen RIP, Maura RIP) and the late Bernie and Michael (Emer RIP). Deeply regretted and fondly remembered by her Loreto Community, brothers, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, her extended family, wide circle of friends and Céilí Community.

Sr. Ena’s remains will leave Loreto Convent Navan at 1.30pm on Friday May 8th, to arrive at St. Mary’s Church Drumragh at approximately 4.30pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday 9th May at 12 o’clock noon in St. Mary’s Church, Drumragh followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Michael will be sadly missed by his dear wife Bernadette, daughter Demelza, son Mark, uncle Tommy, sister Maureen, brothers PJ and Joseph, all his extended family and friends.

Cappinrush, Rahugh, Kilbeggan, Westmeath, died on May 1st 2026 in the wonderful care of the Palliative Care Unit, Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore with her loving family by her side. Predeceased by her parents and her husband and son. Sadly missed by her daughter Siobhán, grandson James and his wife Cathrina, great grandson Jack, sister Ann, brothers Seamus and Seán, sister-in-law Francis, brother-in-law Pat, Siobhán’s partner Johnny, niece’s, nephew’s, extended family and friends.
