Peacefully in the wonderful care of Carthage Nursing Home, Mucklagh. Predeceased by her husband Billy, parents Elizabeth and Paddy, sisters Susie, Dina and brother Paddy, nephews P.J. and Joe. Laura will be sadly missed by her sons Tom, Pat, John and Dermot, her daughters-in-law Denise, Annette, Maria, Aileen and Kimberli, her Grandchildren, Katie, Tommy, Jack, Jerome, Geoffrey, Simon, Aprille, Billy, and Robert, her Great Grandson Freddie, her sister Lil (Daly), her nieces, nephews and extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Pat Kelly, 1 Belvedere Orphanage, Tyrrellspass, Westmeath, who passed peacefully on 16th February 2026 at The Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar. Predeceased by his parents Molly and Mick, daughter Clare, sisters Nora and Mary, and brothers Jim and Mick.

Sadly missed by his daughters Teresa, Marie and Kathleen, sons Michael, Shane and Patrick, his best friend Betty, sisters Rosie, Nancy (Rahugh), Bridie and Ellen, his 14 adored grandchildren, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

FUNERALS

Bereavement is always difficult, but it is made even more difficult now with the restrictions. The restrictions extend to the Funeral Mass too unfortunately with only 10 people allowed in the Church. This makes the grieving process even more difficult. The support of the extended family and parish community has always been a great support to the bereaved.

Below are the readings from which a family can choose for the Mass, and all the details regarding a Funeral Mass in our Parish. You can discuss these with me and any arrangements for the Funeral.
