Eamon (Edward J) Mulligan

Died on February 29, 2024

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Eamon (Edward J) Mulligan, Celbridge, Kildare / Kilbeggan, Westmeath and New York – in his 94th year, died 29th February 2024 (peacefully) in the tender loving care of the staff of Bethany House Nursing Home, Tyrrellspass, surrounded by his loving family. Pre-deceased by his wife Annie (née McDonnell), parents Ned and Lil, siblings Venie, Joe, Jimmy, Sean, Joanie and Betty. He will be sadly missed by his sister Maura, brother-in-law and longtime friend Martin, nieces, nephews (Ireland and UK), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May Eamon Rest In Peace

Reposing at Nannery’s Chapel of Rest, Riverview, Kilbeggan (N91 HR88) on Tuesday (5th March) from 4.30pm to 6pm, followed by Rosary. Removal to St James’ Church, Kilbeggan to arrive for 7pm. FUNERALS

Bereavement is always difficult, but it is made even more difficult now with the restrictions. The restrictions extend to the Funeral Mass too unfortunately with only 10 people allowed in the Church. This makes the grieving process even more difficult. The support of the extended family and parish community has always been a great support to the bereaved.

Below are the readings from which a family can choose for the Mass, and all the details regarding a Funeral Mass in our Parish. You can discuss these with me and any arrangements for the Funeral.
