Patricia O’Gorman (née Burke) formerly of Staunton’s Pub, Glebe Street, Ballinrobe; Cleveland, Ohio; and Taugheen, Carramore, Claremorris. Patricia passed away peacefully – surrounded by her loving family – at Friars Lodge Nursing Home, Ballinrobe on December 29th, 2025.

Predeceased by her beloved husband John and daughter Yolanda.

Loving mother of Dave, John Patrick (JP) and Imelda and daughters-in-law Lorna and Lily. Adored grandmother to Faith, Sophie, Emily, Finn and Jonathan. Sadly missed by her loving brother Seán, sisters Philomena, Helen (Nellie) and Colette, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and dearest friends.

Reposing at St. Joseph’s Funeral Home, Ballinrobe (F31 XV63), on Thursday, January 1st, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
Patricia’s Funeral Mass will take place at St. Mary’s Church, Ballinrobe, on Friday, January 2nd, at 11.00am, followed by burial in Kilbeggan Cemetery, County Westmeath arriving approximately 3.15pm. House Private please. Patricia’s Funeral Mass can be viewed on Church TV.ie /Ballinrobe.

FUNERALS

Bereavement is always difficult, but it is made even more difficult now with the restrictions. The restrictions extend to the Funeral Mass too unfortunately with only 10 people allowed in the Church. This makes the grieving process even more difficult. The support of the extended family and parish community has always been a great support to the bereaved.

Below are the readings from which a family can choose for the Mass, and all the details regarding a Funeral Mass in our Parish. You can discuss these with me and any arrangements for the Funeral.
