PRAYING WITH THE WORD OF GOD

How to practice Lectio Divina Praying with the Word of God

Select a Scripture passage
Before starting your prayer, select a passage from Scripture to use for your lectio divina. It can be from the Old or New Testament, but it shouldn’t be too long. The length of a reading from Mass works well.

Christmas Eve: Children’s’ Mass with Family Choir at 6 p.m. and Mass with Adult Choir at 7.30 p.m.
Christmas Day:
9.30 a.m. Rahugh and
11 a.m. Kilbeggan
Please note: Mass will be at 10 a.m. for Christmas week, Tuesday 26th to Saturday 30th December 2023

40 Hours Adoration, Cathedral of Christ the King, Diocese of Meath 24-26 November 2023

To celebrate the Solemnity of Christ the King this year, there will be 40 Hours Adoration in the Cathedral, beginning with Mass at 7:30 pm on Friday, 24th November and concluding with Solemn Vespers and Benediction at 4 pm on Sunday 26th November.
As part of the 40 Hours Devotion, Confessions will be heard
